Field Squared chose to partner with Zemoso labs to reimagine the user experience of their existing solution for mobile devices and leverage the BYOD trend.
Most workforce management solutions still depend on manual work distribution, with office staff coordinating field technicians by text and phone, a costly and inefficient way to move resources and manage time. Field Squared wanted to get to value quickly with a validate-pivot-launch model, expand use cases and improve usage without pulling focus from other product priorities, and free up its internal product team to deliver more value.
We utilized a Google Ventures design sprint to achieve stakeholder alignment and create the prototype, which tested spectacularly with existing customers/users and garnered adopter interest. Ensuring continuous collaboration, our team ran the project on two-week sprints, enabling early course correction for micro pivots throughout the partnership. Additionally, we evaluated the existing tech stack and design choices to distill the elements most crucial for the mobile experience.
By reimagining the design for an intuitive, easy-to-navigate mobile experience and shipping new features every two-week sprint - from real-time GPS routing to an offline-capable, JSON-schema-driven form engine - Zemoso helped Field Squared relaunch its mobile solution and reignite customer growth.
