Job Duties
Understand requirements and help the team in developing and documenting User Stories, including creating sub-tasks, estimating time to write code, write & perform unit tests, and write automated testing scripts.
Assist with the product architecture, design and leading implementation and will work with the technical team members.
Partner with other developers to ensure all areas of the application are fully tested and issues are clearly logged and prioritized consistently.
Using JIRA to break down user stories and create estimates for work; linking technical documentation in Confluence with JIRA; documenting and fixing defects using JIRA.
Checking out branches of code, merging code, resolving conflicts.
Manage the defect log and ensure production issues are resolved, including validation of the fix.
Analyze and determine proper testing procedures/processes for testing both virtual hardware and software.
Contribute to the analysis of product features, and the product, to ensure it behaves as intended. Ensure all non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, usability, etc.) are met.
Run grooming sessions, retrospectives in sprints. Interact and engage with senior executives, entrepreneurs, and product managers to help team decide backlogs Manage one to three scrum teams to deliver software solutions.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed. Strategic leadership of the project development and engineering team and will set the vision, direction and practices for the Engineering, development/implementation team.
Assist in the development of proprietary products; manage and lead the implementation teams that deliver on the full life cycle of the application and across multiple functional areas.
Work on server side technologies which include: Java, Ruby on Rails, Front end technologies like Angularjs, Reactjs.
Job Requirements
Required Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or any related field + 5 years of experience in the job offered, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Project Lead, or related.
Must be able to travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.
